Yo, why the music in the new FFXIV expansion trailer out here sounding like a Foo Fighters riff? The opening is just flat out The Pretender.

What is the purpose of being extremely standoffish about RP in public areas in FFXIV? When a person's carrd and search info implies they are open to RP but then when you approach them with interest they reply like, "Yeah. Cool." or their character is just flat unapproachable. What even is the point?

I've watched the new FFXIV patch trailer several times today and man...that revision of White Snow, Black Steel that's undoubtedly going to be used for the dungeon theme is really making the trailer. I need the full song in my veins via my earholes immediately.

The more I see people talk about why they like certain video games like Crimson Desert and the more I hear "it's good because it doesn't hold your hand" the more I realize that's less a reason to enjoy the game and more a reason thrown out to justify calling people who don't enjoy it "unskilled".

PSA for Discord's new age verification! If you get hit by it and refuse to give them any ID or face scans as you should, here's a way to just... bypass it. Go to Settings - Family Centre and then just enter a date of birth that's 18+ It's really that simple. Give them nothing.

Discord is already starting to walk things back a little, so people should keep doing what they're doing (cancel Nitro, leave feedback/criticism, direct contact through support tickets/phone/email/etc)

Probably goes without saying but I'll say it anyway so there's public record among the voices crying out at @discord.com ...if you think because I've supported for so many years that I wouldn't drop Nitro easily over this privacy breach, you're mistaken. Add another cancellation to the list.
