Oh, the second professor hack that has saved my ass? Take on a big service role. Use it to block "volunteer" and "voluntold" propositions. ^_^ Then take on small service roles that relate to or address the workload for your big service role. Now your service looks "diversified" and "active." ^_^

A professor hack for when I'm not feeling 100%: I give myself permission to end class early if it's not working out, but only if I at least TRY to run class normally Students would be VERY okay with an early dismissal But once I get going, I'm like, no point in quitting now! Let's go bitch
