Went to pick up pink makeup at the local costume store and found three leather paddles in a used bin. There were a lot of other leather items there but in rather poor condition. At a dollar each I couldn’t say no! A little cleanup and they will be amusing display items.

Heffy Holidays Just enjoying more of this fellow last night, had him on for several hours watching Bedazzled (the remake, not bad). A bit of tease for the last shot!

Started opening up the mouth on the pink cat mask last night. I won’t be able to make the mouth be expressive no matter what I do, but at least I will be audible and unmuffled. This is the sort of mask that your whole body will bring to life with gestures and movement, which works nicely for him!

I returned the Bou Boys to the guest bedroom at Mom’s house, and brought several others along with them. They’ll have a restful Beverly- free environment to vibe in, all now under the watchful gaze of the White Rabbit.

Progress on an old coffee table I am cleaning up and painting for Mom’s study room. Sanded it down and deep cleaned with Simple Green solution before applying initial edge paint. Will resume work on Sunday and really want it finished before New Years. Quite doable!

Brief visit from Jalopy last night. He first debuted in 2015 at a local haunted attraction, and has popped up occasionally since. Been meaning to do some upgrades on him, nothing major just stuff to make him more seamless. For a latex and foam half mask a decade old he is in good shape!

Icelandair Icelandic Yule Cat character from YT ads. The actor is admittedly taking a page out of the Mike Myers Cat in the Hat performance book but the makeup is pretty excellent and those teeth allow for wonderful diction. The shorter ads are decent and I have no choice but to research Yule Cat!

Flop is keeping an eye out for perps!

The porch pumpkins had a tremendous run this autumn, and now they have been retired to the backyard. Ideally they will break down and form an even more magnificent patch next year! For the record, all of the small pumpkins were what I harvested this year, the larger ones were courtesy of Kroger.

Making like Sydney Greenstreet last night, ha! Just kidding, this is not my portrayal of the British actor who was in Casablanca and The Maltese Falcon. This is one of the several faces Sy Smoothie/Sid Sleaze uses to commit crimes in, oh ho ho! Wonder if he will be doing Santa next week! Ho ho ho!

Cabinet now next to the oven, spent time before work moving things in and reorganizing. The mobile was cleaned off and most everything moved elsewhere. Sometimes little things like this make a major difference!

Finished painting the wall and baseboard last night before the new oven was delivered today. The cabinet exterior is also pretty well finished, will do a second pass on the interior joins before work then a first pass on the interior walls when I get home. Might as well ride this wave!

No prompting or backstory given, but the two sides of the same feline he realized make sense: friendly office worker by day, camp science villain by night! Now to live up to that potential!

My phone does this blue super moon little justice, but the tiny in the sky and on the snow covered ground is otherworldly.

I’m enjoying the snow from inside the house! Tomorrow morning I shovel but until then…

I woke up around 8 this morning and had the sudden urge to burn yard waste before the snow started coming down. Was able to gather all the cardboard that was scattered everywhere by the recent winds, get rid of some trash and shuffle around the dead weed piles. Worked great! Napped afterwards.

For a brief moment the colors dazzled on the horizon. Then the steely gray clouds engulfed the light, and the snow started to fall…

Recent used Pervis acquisition before and after lip cleanup and repaint. The color is rather solid, I may go back and try to lighten it a bit, but the definition is much better and overall the mouth is more expressive. Expect filthy things from him!

Started reading Philip K Dick’s Ubik and I keep circling back to the chapter 3 heading. I laughed so hard I would have embarrassed myself if other people were around!
