The cancellation of RightsCon is a huge attack on civic spaces. It bothers authoritarians that we speak about them freely. It’s annoying to see our research and reporting, and to have human rights defenders getting together in solidarity.

One more step towards information control. Unfortunately, we need to *always* expect the worst from companies in our current enshittified information ecosystem.
