The problem is the size of soapbox he has. Pub bores and wild eyed reactionaries have existed forever in pubs& on literal soapboxes at Hyde Park corner. But this one has grabbed control of the online town square& is luring all like himself through a megaphone.

Just been offered $1.50 per word - per WORD! - for an article on Growing Beans for a US publication. Just imagine if that was a typical rate of pay for academic articles - -
