Cool article in Westword. Usually all the press I receive is for my various crimes of passion, so this is a nice change.

Whenever young authors approach me filled with self-doubt and looking for advice, I always sit them down and immediately advise them to GIVE UP and STOP WRITING because then there's less competition for me.

Today is release day for my 10th novel, THE MEMORY WARD, and I gotta tell you, I think this is my best one yet. It's been described as a cross between SHUTTER ISLAND and THE STEPFORD WIVES. I hope you take a chance on this one. And please spread the word!
