I’m writing a ‘fun’ murder mystery book. I’ve found it quite easy to make myself add words to it, which is good. Not sure I can actually write that sort of book, really, so I’ll see how it goes.

Worked on this for the second day in a row, I’m practically hitting Stephen King levels of productivity here.🤡

Finished the rough first draft of a (very) short horror novella about a month ago, and have just started writing the first chapters of a fun (hopefully) murder mystery book (prob a pen name). Let’s see if I can get it done. Not at all my usual genre to write.

? Just make another film. It’s not one, ongoing series of linked movies, is it. Just start again with the next bloke.

Currently reading. Always enjoy her books, found a signed copy of this in the local charity shop.

Finished this little delight. Part 2 of a trilogy. Ballingrud is so blooming good.

An actual first draft written? Start to finish? WTF? It would be embarrassing to admit just how looooong it’s taken me to write this tiny 20,000 word story. What a loser. (I like how I’ve put ‘novella’ on the cover. Technically, sure, but barely.)

For new Dr Who, let’s just skip the Billie Piper thing. Just start fresh and new and ignore the recent past. Throw off the weight. (They absolutely won’t do this, but a boy can dream)

Not fussed about Disney pulling out of more Dr Who, I kinda wish RTD had too though. Or at least didn’t write the next finale, cos the last two have really soured the seasons they topped.

Just cut an entire perspective character from my tiny book and suddenly I think I’m nearly done with the first draft. Just needed to lose one voice.

Watching the Traitors, and I always want the traitors to win, why would you want the faithfuls to win. 💅🏻

I like it when there’s a book cover reveal and all the author friends are losing their minds over it and it’s basically a terrible splodge.

Got an email this morning saying my copy of the new Nathan Ballingrud book was out for delivery. 🤠 They did not delivery.😥

Got ill for a week and it shoved me out of my recent writing routine. I’d actually been writing semi-regularly for the first time in years. Then illness struck and not a word for three weeks. Until today. Hopefully back at it again. Got to finish this trash draft. Annoying little thing.

I was actually on track to do this… and then I’ve been sick since Sunday. And I don’t write when sick, unlike some of you mentalists. Sick means crashed out watching daytime tv and nothing else. But I nearly made it.

Saw someone in US saying they paid loads to get tested for covid. I recently paid about 2.80 for a test over here.

Have been sick since Sunday. Came in to the office today for a few hours and someone stole my fancy yoghurt that I bought on the way in out of the fridge. Not a great week. 😩
