Right wing media has had it in for Angela Rayner from the start - they couldn’t bear a working class woman being so powerful & dynamic. She made a mistake and has paid heavily for it. Very much hope she’ll return at some point in the future - our politics desperately needs more voices like hers

Today I got to introduce a favourite topic- the Puritans! We all chose a Puritan name for our imaginary 16th century ancestor and then made notes on why they were so stressed about church ales. I had fun. Less sure about Year 10…

I belatedly realised this weekend that I’ve been teaching 20 years. Started @arthurjchapman.bsky.social PGCE course September 2004. Feeling pretty proud of that. With all its challenges, I still love my job. #historyteacher
