Speaking of 2002: I played so much Deathmatch Classic and Opposing Force Deathmatch back then. Had some great fun with those and single player mods for Half-Life. An absolute blast of an era that really cemented in my love of computers and PC gaming.

The thing about queer introspection is that you find more and more niche and groups and concepts that resonate with you. Where you find likeminded people and realize these complex thoughts you thought were unrelatable are experienced by thousands of others.

That looks like how my kid brain thought StarFox 64 looked back on the Nintendo 64 in the 90s. It was a gorgeous game back then and looks beautiful in this form now. Been wanting a return to StarFox for years and I’m looking forward to this one!

I think the best part of transitioning is having emotions. Even over 12 years later I remember those years of feeling so muted and numb. But now? A movie can trigger a tidal wave of emotions that feel so intense and wonderful. It’s finding life and it’s so beautiful. Best decision of my life

Watching The Fifth Element for the first time in a while. It’s such a strange and fun movie. Peak 90s science fiction. And such great practical effects that you just don’t see anymore.

What I want more of is games that bring the feel of a laser tag arena from 2004. Dim lighting, fog, black lights, and neon art. All atop a confusing semi-industrial backdrop. I feel like it’s easy to run with that and go cyberpunk but honestly I just want that grungy feeling captured to replay.

I really want to rewatch this movie. It's so quintessentially 90s but also such a great film. It was so much fun to see it after watching Goof Troop so much before it came out. Goofy was always my favorite and that show and this movie really cemented that for me.
