Idk why but this makes me so sad. I have sticker anxiety and yet thereโs a part of me that needs to believe these pure, innocent little guys are still around. ๐ฅบ Iโm buying what I can and telling my teacher friends too.

The delightful part of this is that he's was a huge parks nerd, and did the entire one hour Innoventions loop in 2 weeks. That the project lead then said to cut down to 10 minutes.

I love the diversity of casualwear on display here. Regular folks looking so naturally stylish. But man, I canโt imagine packing and wearing an Aran sweater to the Florida parks.

The Poseidon's Fury temple was designed to look as if it could collapse at any moment. Why? According to legend, an earthquake fractured the temple, split the ground, and ruined the statue, which links back to actual history. Follow along for its environmental storytelling. ๐งต

Dropped in at the Sundrop Shoppe, where they literally only have Sun Drop, Sunkist, and RC Cola (+ diets) on tap. For those unfamiliar, Sun Drop is how Mountain Dew et al. ๐ด๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ญ๐ฅ taste.

Last week I bought more than a dozen late '90s/early 00s software programs, all of them in their original boxes. Many of them unopened. Here's the first one I bought for 10 cents ClickArt 125,000 deluxe image pak from 1999 (unopened) with a CompUSA sticker.

Found a set of Pendleton woolenware cobranded with Disneyland & labeled โFrontierland Exhibit.โ The Woolmark logo dates this to 1964 or later. The dagger point collar & wider leg may indicate post-1967, but wide collars are common in Westernwear regardless of date so idk. Would love to learn more!

My Disney Cruise Experience โโ THE GOOD โโ 1. The romantic art deco design of the Disney Dream feeds my very soul. Most ships have weird, abstract concepts: โyouโre in a city!โ โyouโre in space!โ. Here you instinctively know the story being told through lacquered teak and rich fabrics.

It's no secret that I've always been a big cheerleader for Dinoland USA, so before it went extinct I wanted to commemorate it with a fun map. This map is full of Easter eggs, characters, in-jokes and even me, my husband and dog make an appearance. Bonus points if you can track down Aladar!

Now obsessed with Raiders of the Lost Jedi Temple of Doom. The past decade would have been very different if LFLโs stance on character integrity was more like it was pre-acquisition.

My museum would be The Behind the Scenes Museum dedicated to our covert adventures at Disneyland in the 1970s. Apart from the exhibits, interactive trespassing would be encouraged with an abundance of Employees Only doors leading to a maze of white service hallways, staircases, maint. areas, etc.

The Del Toro Nightmare Alley had a brief black and white release that ran in select theaters alongside the color version in late Dec, 2021. I saw the b&w version and it was spectacular, better than the color one. Criterion is finally releasing it in b&w this October, and Iโm so excited to own it.
