The federal fucking government is trying to stop companies from selling products that allow people to make their breasts less prominent. There is no freedom of expression, no freedom of gender nonconformity, no bodily autonomy for any of us if they win.

Heartbreaking and horrifying to go to bed reading about the mass shooting at Brown University and wake up to read about the mass shooting at a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach. Thinking of the victims, their loved ones, and those affected by the hate that drove these attacks.

Romantic Warrior is so cool. Crazy for a horse to be able to win at the highest level for 4 straight years. π

He's done! I'm really happy with how well he can sit and stand using the tail π§Άπ§Ά I think I need to test the pattern and make sure I counted all the stitches right before sharing it.

Progress! Finally chose a body design and got the tail, head and body connected. Still working through options for the arms and legs, but happy with how well it sits up, even without legs. π§Ά

Dealing with back pain by trying to come up with a pattern for a crochet fox. Really happy with the head, and leaning towards the more teardrop body shape. π§Ά Though I might redo the body again to fix the white; it's getting twisted somehow.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

Great first day of the Breeders Cup, a couple nice favorites and some fun long shots. Biggest betting highlight for me was Balantina - thanks to her I broke even for the day, so still have all my money to play with tomorrow ππ

What an impressive maiden win for Miss Kona! Gave the whole field a head start and still closed like a freight train to get the win. That's a lot to ask from a 2yo filly with only 6 furlongs to work with. ππ

Old Soviet joke for today: A man walks into a newsstand every day, looks around, and leaves. After a long time of this, the owner says βCan I help you find something?β βIβm looking for the obituaries.β βThe obituaries are in the back of the newspaper, comrade.β βNot the one Iβm looking for.β
