We need a new logo for something at work and I joked about having a Blue Peter competition to design it, before remembering that I am so ancient that I submitted a design in their competition for designs for one of the new bosses in York Minster following the 1984 fire. It wasn’t selected.

It would be both rash and imprudent to marry so unreliable a man. His saying that he “could do so much with you” is mere talk. He is a broken reed to depend upon, and will drag you down to poverty. Then who knows the result? Drink might follow.

I took off the shower attachment head and nozzle and soaked / scrubbed it all with vinegar and limescale remover and am now inordinately proud of how clean and shiny it’s come up. Might invite people round to see the shower attachment.
