Actually I think what I need to do is draw small chibi full bodies of all my characters side by side, because I’m running an issue where all their palettes look great individually but look a little disjointed when they’re all in the same photo

Went from being rabidly obsessed with my own OC’s and motivated to working on stuff with them a couple weeks ago, to suddenly feeling really apathetic and detached from drawing them out of nowhere. Hm. I don’t know if that’s… ever happened before.

I used to be a very staunch defender of shaded refs but now I understand that something like that is only fine if it’s cel shaded. Smooth shaded ones I’m getting lately are making it really hard to differentiate what’s a marking and what’s a shadow
