Look, obviously my emotional reaction to that press conference is to punch a wall so hard either it or my knuckles break. But let put that on hold for a moment and ask, very dispassionately and calmly: What American national interest objective or foreign policy goal was served by that shit-show?

Oh joy, the standard, slightly pissed, middle aged bloke has got on at Cardiff - bit of a surprise for a Monday.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers. This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder. Auschwitz took time.

This photograph was taken in 1920 at Glamorgan Asylum. It shows a nurse comforting a little boy who is having a photograph taken for his casefile. I often wonder what these hands have seen. Who they've held. Who they've comforted. Who they've caressed. Who they've struck in fits of rage.

A new company, Bangor AI, is hoping to create up to 3 part time jobs and boost the local economy by as much as £36 when they open their new data centre above the O2 shop on the High Street.

My God this salary. I love the British Library, I really do. I worked in the Dept. of Medieval Manuscripts as a curatorial fellow & then as a research associate; I have spent hundreds of hours there as a researcher. And I get it, this is the going rate for such positions in the UK. But Jesus Christ.

Happy new year everyone. You’re all great, in some way. Each one of you has a weirdness - a superpower if you want to see it that way - that no-one else has. There’s no perfect, archetypal human. A species is the sum of its parts. And yet, as just one human, you are: special.

Llanelli town centre as viewed from the roof of the old Tescos. The red colour is why the local rugby team are known as “The Scarlets”. The clay used to make the tiles come from Trimsaran. They've been exported across the world for centuries, even as far as Italy!

Ebenezer Scrooge 🎄🪦 📍St Chad's Churchyard ⛪ If you've seen Donner's version of 'A Christmas Carol', you'll recognize this gravestone 🪦 'Ebenezer Scrooge' was carved on an old gravestone in the churchyard and used as a prop for the film 🎥 It's still in the churchyard today!
