The Hillsborough Law is currently making its way through Parliament. But there are those in Parliament who would like to see it watered down. All of us who care about justice, and about making public inquiries work for everyone, must make sure that does not happen. 4/4

Today's report makes for devastating reading for all those who lost loved ones to Covid. The actions of Boris Johnson and his colleagues led to thousands upon thousands of avoidable deaths. Those who presided over that failure have no place in public life.

Now that the Inquiry has spoken, there must be accountability. While our focus will always be on learning lessons to save lives in the future, individual accountability must be part of delivering justice. 4/4

As a vulnerable 73 year old, married to a 70 year old extremely vulnerable person it does feel as if the government thinks I'm expendable. Luckily, I can (just) about afford private vaccinations at £95 each.
