w/ the current discourse surrounding @ultimateguard.bsky.social using gen ai - i would really like to point out that they’ve been pushing out generated ai deck box designs for a HOT MINUTE. they just finally got caught doing it, and to an mtg artist’s work no less, which is beyond disingenuous 🫠

Picked this deck box up from @ultimateguard.bsky.social and I was so excited until I flipped it over. Looks like my art was extended with ai. @magic.wizards.com needs to make sure their partners don’t do this. I would have happily extended this for a couple hundred $$. Instead it looks awful!
