He signed a new contract in summer, he wasn't moving in the summer. There's a lot that goes behind the scenes which we don't necessarily know. Maybe they had an agreement with 115 to move next summer but brought it forward, who knows. But if we could then he was the best option that much I agree.

I'd love to live in a world that talks about Man City being cheats more than they talk about Arsenal being bottlers.

Odegaard and Havertz have collectively played 300 fewer Premier League minutes this season than Guehi and Semenyo have *for Man City*.

Kai Havertz had five shots yesterday. Viktor Gyökeres has had more than four shots in one Premier League game this season. Being the better finisher is useless if you're not good enough at getting on the end of things.

League was blown at Bournemouth last week. Even a draw would have meant that City would have to rely on other teams to overtake us even with a win today. And Haaland scoring the winner shows the difference between a striker that can finish and the ones we have. Really disappointing.

Setup was there, performance was mostly there, though I didn't feel the right XI was on at the end. Mostly, the ball didn't go in. I can live with that much more than I can live with Wolves, Bournemouth, Forest, etc. Fuck.

And if we don't do it, it has nothing to do with today, it'll be about the performances over the course of the season. If we'd played anywhere near this level in some of the games we've dropped points in, today wouldn't have mattered at all.

That right side is giving me anxiety. Mosquera is struggling with Doku. On the left Hincapie has been brilliant but he has no outlet with Eze tucked in to midfield

I have no idea what the “right” lineup is with the players we have available. But we wanted more technical quality in the team, and we wanted to see some kind of adjustment from things that weren’t working. Well we got it. No idea if it’ll be enough but I’m happy to see it!

Would've loved Timber back but can't complain with that team. Odegaard and Havertz through the middle give us much more technical quality and structure. Interested to see Eze off the left again after his time on the naughty step. Big day for Mosquera too. BE BRAVE!

£220,000 raised with a very generous £150,000 donation to come. Incredible, thanks to everyone that donated and shared. But let's keep going, if we hit £400,000 it funds the Coaching for Life programme at the Za’atari Refugee Camp for another five years

On a night where Rice was visibly crocked (he barely moved in the second half), I'm so pleased for Zubimendi who took a lot of responsibility in midfield. Looked sharp, won his duels, mopped the ball up and grew in possession as the game went on - made some nice forward runs too. He needed that.

Say whatever you want about Arteta and Arsenal in big games, not attacking with enough freedom, being too boring, whatever: The man's made back to back CL semi finals with monster injury problems in both seasons

There's another timeline where Arsenal are being praised for being top of the Premier League and close to the Champions League semi final for the second year in a row despite Martin Odegaard only starting 16 games across both competitions by mid-April.

Calafiori, Timber, Ødegaard & Saka. You do everything to make yourselves fit and available for City on Sunday. A bit of pain and discomfort? Work through it. This isn't part of the season where we take cautions. You have to be willing to put your bodies on the line to achieve the big trophies.

Martin Zubimendi has equalled the second-highest minutes and matches and minutes played of his career. He's 120 minutes/1 game away from matching his career highs. Arsenal have 7-10 games (~650-950 minutes) still to play this season. To say he's been thrown in at the deep end is an understatement.
