Rs wrote a tax bill that costs $3.9T. $4.8T in cuts - $1T in offsets (rounding). but they turned off a lot of stuff early to make the costs look artificially small - even tho they’ll want to extend it. if they extend the expiring provisions, it’s $5.3T in costs ($6.3T in cuts - $1T in offsets).
