Below are the birds seen or heard & identified by a local ornithology expert, Pete, who recorded their songs & knew where to look for certain birds. Most birds were also verified by using the Merlin bird song app. Bird species have greatly increased (by 73.9%) since last year 🦉

Overall, we recorded an incredible 217 animals and 197 plants including: 3 reptile species 7 mammal species 139 insect species 40 bird species 8 Gastropoda species (snails and slugs) 19 arachnid (spider) species 1 amphibian species A 57.2% increase in fauna species since 2022.

Look at all of these wonderful creatures 😍 This is what happens when we remove land from animal agriculture and give it back to wildlife. It's ALL about the land 🐝🦋🦎🐦🦊🦡🦔
