The worst part about living in Japan is friends asking me if I have every limited special edition everything that ever comes out here.

While working on videos, I often get stuck listening to a specific artist and albums on repeat. Yuuyami Doori was Björk's "Debut" and "Post." Right now, Planet Laika is Smashing Pumpkins "Siamese Dream" and "Pisces Iscariot." I don't know what the connections are, but that's just how it is.

🧵/1 - So restricted mode is only part of a larger problem with YouTube's new AI tool that's restricting videos while trying to guess your age based on what you watch. No one knows the criteria for what it deems restrict-able. It's not the usual age-restriction practices that YT already has in place.

If RLM is talking about the state of YouTube, you know it’s bad.

I despise how hard YouTube actively fucks over its users and creators at every turn. Be sure to check your devices (Yes, plural DEVICE(S), because they’ve made it per device not just account), and make sure this setting is OFF! It’s potentially hiding thousands of videos from you.
