Why screw up your game's reputation by having 4 AI images that were basically wall art? Why not just... not include them? Or get an artist to draw 4 random pieces of art? Or use stock images? There are so many other options that don't include the art theft machine.

When I was learning Unity back in 2020 I was trying to figure out how to script the Input Map, then I found a forum post dated 2015 saying it was deprecated and I should've used the new upcoming Input System. Guess what? The Input System hadn't been updated since 2015 and was still in alpha.

For some reason I can't get movement with analog sticks to feel right. If I always keep max speed it's hard to control, if it's based on analog tilt the animations break. I even tried limiting movement to 8 directions but it still feels weird. #gamedev

The next time someone complains about a game being "slow" I'm gonna force them to play Garden Story, a game with 90% positive reviews where your walking speed is so fast it takes a good 30 seconds to get to the opposite side of the screen.
