people ask me how to make an org or an event (Pixelles, Polaris, Kitfox, etc). over time, it's become clear the steps can't be broken down past 1 - decide on a goal 2 - figure out how to reach that goal 3 - find a trusted collaborator 4 - take it slow, it's a marathon (anecdata to follow in thread)
