The money is a real problem: it comes from a minority of high net worth funds and individuals. That’s a weak point: attack the funding sources and you shut down the newsrooms. It also highly depends on their business decisions and predilections. We need far more resilient, diverse business models.

Trick question: done is never done. The question is when it’s done *enough*. For that, you need to decide who that thing is being done for and when it’s good enough to meet their needs.

In NYC for family health reasons. If we’ve interacted over the last week and I’ve seemed a bit … off, this is why. Should all be ok, but I’ve realized I’m basically vibrating with anxiety.

I know it’s in the Constitution, but guns are horrific murder tools. Having them in society just helps amp up violence and individualism. And having them in the house leads to trauma like this. I have to ask parents of other toddlers if they own murder weapons because sometimes this happens.
