As an educator who is thinking hard about how to help my students navigate AI, this paper feels essential: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.... The TL;DR? Don’t offload your work to AI or you don’t gain appreciable skills or knowledge. If you use AI as a partner it enhances.

I gave a hard math test on Friday. It was appropriately hard, designed to challenge exceptional students, but their level of resiliency in the face of the challenge was low. Our mantra has become “our goal is learning, not perfection.”

This is actively one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. It brings a spark of joy in a hard time.
