We recently funded access improvements at Streatley Meadows. A popular local spot, disabled access was previously not possible due to 3 narrow kissing gates. These have now been replaced with larger disabled-access gates & upgrades have been made to the surface at the entrance to the meadows.

Red #kites are thriving in the #Chilterns after reintroduction in the early 1990s. We're working with @NaturalEngland, @_BTO & others to bring together guidelines for the public to lessen harmful interactions & keep the kites & ourselves safe.

Farming in Protected Landscapes is funding 200 Dutch elm disease resistant trees to be planted across the Christmas Common farmer cluster. 🌳 As well as returning mature elm trees to the landscape, the trees will help conserve the white letter hairstreak butterfly. 🦋 #FiPL
