#StarTrek TNG "The Chase": A fun romp of a story, going from an old mentor of Picard's visiting, to a race across the galaxy. Who doesn't like a story with Cardassians, Klingons, & Romulans in it? The message of cooperation falling on (mostly) deaf ears is a nice way to finish. A nice episode.

#Babylon5 S2.8 "A Race Through Dark Places": It's a Bester episode, so yay, & it's a follow-up to the S1 story with Talia's friend, Ironheart. The parts with Earth Central trying to charge Ivanova & Sheridan rent are hilarious & John's date with Delenn is superb. The plot resolution's also neat-o.

Alan Moore & Alan Davis’ The Fury. One of the most utterly terrifying super-baddies ever. If not the most terrifying, full stop.

#Babylon5 S2.7 "Soul Mates": This one is flat-out brilliant. Londo is allowed to divorce 2 of his 3 wives & must pick which one to keep. Meanwhile, in a less involving B-plot, Talia's ex-hubby returns, & it's a battle of mid-level acting. But Londo's plot more than carries the episode.

#StarTrek TNG "Families": It's nice to see Worf's family visit him, & it's also a rare treat to see a story have consequences - here, Picard isn't yet recovered from his experiences with the Borg. The Wesley sub-plot with a holo from his dead dad falls flat, but they were really trying w the theme.

We watched the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie, to see how it all started. I remember the series being a continuation, but it really isn't. Vampires flying, Pike as a boyfriend, the school not burning down (don't they talk about a fire in the 1st series?), Watchers reincarnating, a lot's different.

Heck, I'll write you anything you like for $95.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer S2.1: We get to see Buffy's dad again, who has zero chemistry with her mom, so I believe they'd be divorced. The Master gets to cameo & Cordelia gets some good moments. Everything's slightly better filmed & edited. I feel sorry for Willow. Nice start to a full season.

My daughter & I watched the last episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 1 ("Prophecy Girl"). The Master's skeletal remains are not very good. Presumably, the show blew its budget on that giant, 3-headed tentacle monster. Fairly decent culmination of season 1, with Xander getting rejected, etc.

#StarTrek TNG "Force of Nature": We know it as the episode where they say warp drive is destroying the environment but its really about Data's cat & I love it for that. The parts about warp drive being damaging are initially about 1 small region of space too, until the very end where it's ambiguous

#Babylon5 S2.6 "Spider in the Web": Starts with a pre-titles sequence set in the San Diego Wastes (a ruined landscape of devastated buildings) with spy-type mischief going on. I have questions. Was San Diego obliterated in the Minbari War? Why is it a waste? And why would spies work out of ruins???

Buffy the Vampire Slayer S1.11: It's the one with the invisible girl. The part we enjoyed the most was seeing (or rather not seeing) all the invisible people in the government spy training program at the end. Another solid episode, & the first time Cordelia shows real depth as a character.

#StarTrek TNG "Data's Day": I like the parts with the Romulans a lot & Data's face while he's learning to dance is a hoot. It's also nice to see the night shift. So, does Data work multiple shifts every day? He's awake with Picard as well during the day. Data is very forgiving, working with Maddox.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer S1.10 "Nightmares": The script nicely weaves nightmares into the real world. Cordelia's bad hair nightmare is a funny bit, while Xander being mortified to show off his bare muscles is less convincing. Buffy as a vampire is a highlight. Another winner of an episode.

I watched all the way through Sandman Season 2, even the "bonus" episode. It was... not a fun watch, sadly. It forgot to be entertaining. It also felt like it was rushing to an end. The Lucifer plot is simply abandoned, & Dream never even says "It was Loki's fault!" Kinda found it frustrating.

Adding this to my To Be Read pile. I hear it's good. The Bond by F. K. Miller. Fantasy fans should give it a try. #AmReading

Buffy the Vampire Slayer S1.9: The one with the ventriloquist's dummy. Really good story with a nice twist at the end. New school principal alert! He's a meanie (delightfully so). Many great comic moments, from Giles being made to run the talent show to the Scoobie Gang's play at the end.
