New project is done! 3d printed headphones! The kit is from head(amame) out of Canada. Buy the hardware kit, and all the 3d printable files come free. All colored parts are in PLA, and all transparent pieces are in PETG. These are 50mm drivers, and sound so good! headamame.com/collections/...

All the parts to my new project are nearly printed! Photo below shows what I've got done. Parts marked with a 1 are in PETG, parts marked with a 2 are in glow in the dark PLA, and the part marked 3 is in hot pink PLA. I have one more part that will be the same as the hot pink, just in sky blue.

Ok, had to stop working on the project and order a filament dryer. It's here, and now I'm hoping it'll help me with the issues I'm having.

Attempt one is done, and while it looks cool I messed with some settings and now am printing attempt two. These are only the first in multiple parts for this project. Any guesses what I'm printing?

Printed a couple key caps with the new nozzle, one like normal and one on its side to see if that'd help with the surface looking better. It looks WAY nicer. Now to figure out the best supports for printing and easy removal. Left is regular orientation and the right is on its side.

So apparently my new nozzle has been out for delivery since the 26th. Yet nowhere to be found as of yet. I'm guessing they don't mean it's truly out for delivery? Haha I don't know what to think.

New nozzle should be here today, and might have figured out an easy way to color in the key caps themselves. Exciting! 😴

Test prints are done! I finally nailed the depth of the keycap legends down, and was able to figure out the issue of my prints not coming off the rafts like I needed. The left one is a rainbow glow PLA and the right is a PETG print. Now to try printing them sideways while I wait for my new nozzle

I think it's time to tackle the keyboard key caps again. I have a much better printer (IMHO) and I think I can do a much better job. Say hello everyone! Please ignore my fat reflection in the photo.

So, the Retropie build is going well. Got a tiny 512 GB thumb drive set up, running Skraper to add all my box art and things, now it's just tweaking core settings to get everything to run nice and smootly with as little input lag as possible.
