Wild thread. I actually love prescribing SSRIs. No one comes to me 2 months after i give them an antihypertensive and is like wow, I feel better! (Actually they’re more likely to complain of side effects and stop taking it). But with SSRIs, people feel loads better and go back to being themselves.

I have so many kid pts who have a mouthful of cavities and it turns out they drink bottled water. They may brush all the time but without fluoride, their teeth are taking a hit. I give them fluoride to make up for what they are missing!

Really interesting; #3 re MDI being worse for the environment over DPI is new to me. As #medpeds with the flovent debacle of 2024 i spend a lot of time telling insurance why MDI are better for kids under 12 who have worse outcomes with DPI. Will be nice to consider the flip side for my adults.
