KC's 31 Nights of Halloween!! Night 30: Host Yes, I know I've seen this. I needed something short to watch at the airport before my flight. It's still a very good movie: it did everything correctly that Unfriended did horribly. Lots of fun scares in it like the face filter and the music box.

KC's 31 Nights of Halloween!! Night 29: One Cut of the Dead (No quotes for international films) A nice meta take on a meta film. A lot of things I was scratching my head at in the beginning were clarified by the production scenes in the end.

KC's 31 Nights of Halloween!! Night 21: The Blackening I am unable to pick a quote. This movie was SO funny. I love a good horror comedy: they're cousin genres, after all. I wouldn't necessarily call this a terrifying movie, although it has its scenes.

KC's 31 Nights of Halloween!! Night 14: The Vourdalak (No quotes for international films) That was a very fun movie. There was lots of dark humor in it and the Marquis was delightfully absurd in a (I hesitate to say normal) setting so far removed from French court life.

EDIT: I looked up what happens in the American one and, while legally a happier ending, it was stupid. This is the better film.

It has come to my attention that Let Me In is just Let the Right One In but in English. Therefore, I'm replacing it with the original Speak No Evil.

KC's 31 Nights of Halloween!! Night 10: Ash "How about: Let's not fuck it up this time?" So, like, as a movie itself, it was fine. Y'know, it's not a space story I haven't heard before.

KC's 31 Nights of Halloween!! Night 9: A Quiet Place "Who are we if we can't protect them?" God, that was so fucking good. I was worried that the quiet nature of the movie would make me sleepy, and yet I was so enthralled.

Alright gang here is how I am catching up: Tonight: ASH and A Quiet Place Tomorrow: Eyes Without a Face and Cure Tuesday: The Vourdalak and Let Me In. It may or may not be in that order. It depends on which is easier to watch on my lunch break.

There comes a time every year where this happens: I am too tired to watch the movie tonight, and tomorrow is not an ideal day to play catch up. I will do what I can, my sincerest apologies. Fun comes first for the 31 Nights of Halloween.
