I write, jog, bake, do reproductive justice stuff . Although not usually in that order.
An energizing year at
#SFP2025
connecting with my fellow Changemakers and having a full house asking sooo many thoughtful questions at our session on engaging

in family planning research.

It’s been three years since Roe v. Wade was overturned. Here’s where we are now: 🩺 Independent clinics still provide most abortions in the U.S. ⚠️ Nearly a third have closed in the last decade, but indies are fighting hard to stay open.

Supplies, volunteers, extra hands are needed. Kayla Reed with Action St. Louis and Ohun Ashe with For The Culture STL have been lifesavers. They’ve organized 1,000s of volunteers quicker than the city or state was able to do anything. Ohun’s video shows you what to expect when volunteering.

These disparities are even greater for women of color, with Black, Native, and Latina women waiting even longer into the year for their Equal Pay Day due to even wider pay gaps. Women everywhere deserve equal pay for equal work, period.

Received a notice from IRS and called them. Good thing there aren't long wait times. And that the staff can access individual accounts rather than just answer general questions because there aren't any computer system issues. Yup, its all super efficient over there with 10K less staff. Not.
