Obesity+inactivity due to OA hip/ knee is stigmatising & patients wait an extra 12 weeks for joint replacement to either join the programme or not. However NHS weight management interventions are not acceptable to the majority referred to them for pre-op ‘health optimisation’. Answer=CO-DESIGN!
