The US is banning Tik Tok when what they really should be banning is filters. The damage done by filters must be studied. The dysmorphia, unrealistic standards & distorted reality is getting too normalized & I feel like not enough people realizes the extent of it

I hate that societal & cultural norms made it so that crying gives you this almost instant knee jerk reaction of hiding your face, feeling ashamed, looking away & apologizing. It’s just so sad to feel those things in such a vulnerable state 😭

The more you watch reality tv, especially Bravo, the funnier it gets once you start seeing the production behind it. The editing showing every drink poured or taken, the perfectly timed entrances, the storylines they push. It’s so obvious when they go off script or overdo it & it’s hilarious
