A #Roman #ship was found in 1910 on the site of the County Hall, on the south bank of the River #Thames opposite #Westminster, #London. The ship had been abandoned at the edge of the River. The construction of the ship is dated to about 300 AD. #RomanBritain #Archaeology

The Langdon Bay Wreck. The remains of a Middle Bronze Age vessel and cargo were identified in Langdon Bay, Kent, in 1974. The wreck consist ed of Middle Bronze Age artefacts, including tools & weapons made in France. These items have been dated to 1100 BCE. Over 350 artefacts have been recovered.
