Never been a fan of watching or reading the news, for mental health reasons, so I stopped doing it decades ago. I like clear book covers, meaning title & author's name at the front, blurb and author's bio on the back. When author's name takes half the space, there's a lot of "from the author of...", "winner of the..." or god forbid "an irresistible read, said X", it's a clear NO for me. It feels aggressive.

Can't believe Netflix canceled one of the best written series with a huge fan base after 2 seasons but it spends money on ridiculous things like The Decameron. I had to stop watching after ep 2: predictable scenes, cliché characters, zero witty dialogues... Who tf wrote the script, a 12 y/o kid?

My 1st #writing project ever is a dystopic sci-fi thriller that I started longtime ago but shelved it, turning my attention to shorter projects. I didn't plan to continue it as it's very long and complex but it never stopped calling me. I'm reading it today & damn, it's so good! Time to work on it.

For some reason I wasn't feeling excited about watching Nosferatu today, despite waiting for it for months. I avoided spoilers, ignored teasers, with the idea of getting into the experience with zero expectations. Veredict at the final credits: meh. Final veredict after dissecting it: let it burn.
