Random language learning thought of the day: I really like how poetic Japanese went with their days of the week. Unlike Chinese where it’s:l “Weekday 1, weekday 2, etc.” they went with “Moon day, fire day, water day, wood day, gold day, ground day, and Sun day” Aren’t languages fascinating?

The mom chat had a lot of critiques of Wicked, but the main one was that they wished the romance scene was toned down for kids. My take: Just because the movie is wildly popular with kids, does not make it a kid movie, nor were kids the intended primary audience. PG. Provide guidance as needed.
