Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection does not make use of AI upscaled or generated art. The fully 3D assets can be seen in the game's main menu animation. These were rendered out in 2D for the scrolling backgrounds seen in the timelines and other areas.

I normally game for an hour after my son goes to bed. I enforce it using a timer on my watch. I played Bloodlines 2 last night. I ended up ignoring the watch and playing for an extra hour and a half or so.

I can confirm that this port of MK2 was much better than it had any right being.

For the record? For all of the conjecture I’ve seen from the kommunity regarding what would be the final announced game in MK Legacy Kollection, only one person actually guessed WaveNet UMK3.

On this day thirty years ago, the original Mortal Kombat film released to theaters. I remember seeing it opening day; when Scorpion and Sub-Zero made their first appearance, people literally stood up and cheered. It's been a tradition of mine to watch the film on any MK related trip.

After picking up the PC version of Boltgun, I've conceded that as much as I prefer to game on console, run-and-gun and boomer shooters like DOOM and Boltgun are best played on PC.
