The 2025 PRRI AVS finds that 56% of Americans have little or no confidence in ICE, compared with 42% of Americans who say they have some or a great deal of confidence in ICE. Republicans are more than twice as likely to have confidence in ICE (79%) than both independents (37%) and Democrats (16%).

A new PRRI Spotlight Analysis examines the religious makeup of New York City, which has a higher percentage of Muslim Americans (3%) than the national average (1%). Across the city’s five boroughs, the percentage of Muslim residents varies from 0.6% to 6%. Read more:

The Indiana Senate voted against a congressional redistricting plan supported by Trump. PRRI finds that 52% of Americans agree that the increase in funding for ICE to speed up efforts to arrest, detain, and deport undocumented immigrants has gone too far. President Trump ended his Cabinet meeting on Tuesday by criticizing Somali immigrants, describing them as "garbage.”
