A new exhibit has just opened at the Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver. It showcases the history and culture of the Nuxalk First Nation from Bella Coola, B.C.

2024 was a busy year at work, just did my final monthly tally and I responded to 188 public inquiries, 169 professional inquiries, gave 11 tours, and facilitated 37 collections visits for community members/artists/researchers. All this on top of my regular curatorial & collections mgmt duties.

My approach to history and curation is through an anthro/arch lens, and increasingly with an anti-colonial approach (tricky when one of the collections I curate is HBC!)
