a fun coincidence of Emma being such a brawler in Rivals is about 9 years ago I did this redesign of her as part of a challenge, where I tried to lean her more into a "diamond form brawler". dont love the design anymore, but its just a full circle im enjoying as I play the game

For my #HellfireVigil designs, I wanted to represent powers. Layers of skin peeling away from Husk. Billowing, layers for Skin. My initial designs were too ballgown. The next round too somber. The finals were the balance between the two. A lot of different inspo for Husk. Billy Porter for Skin.

#xspoilers for Astonishing X-Men 18 but one Ms Frost shows up for a mini Gen X reunion and you bet I was psyched to get to draw her. My first pass had some costume details wrong, but the second pass allowed me to tweak the face and body a bit. Much happier. Plus GORG colors by Michael Bartolo!
