If you really want to improve at your craft don't ever ask someone "what do you think?" when showing something to them. Pick out a couple of specific things *you're* concerned about and ask about those. It shows you've put some thought into your craft and are looking for actionable ways to improve.

If you've made significant progress on a drawing but don't like how it looks, don't nitpick the crap out of it for hours in an attempt to save it. It's frustrating, and your time is better spent starting over or moving onto something new

This is more of a preference thing rather than advice but bodies have to be very meticulously trained and dehydrated to have defined muscles at all times, so perpetually ripped abs are super unrealistic.

Living being and especially artists are not islands and 'solo success' is a myth. talk to other art people, look at your peers art, talk to them about it. talk About your peers' art publicly. don't just sit and sigh staring at other people's 'cool art circles' join one. start one.

If you feel like your digital art in Photoshop and the like (not using AI, of course) isn't as worthy of praise, you don't have to! All the work I do is digital and the people I work on stuff for have been just as appreciative as they would be for folks that draw. Real art is real art. Have fun.

Keep your space in order as much as you can, a messy workspace where you can't find what you need immediately will demolish your inspiration like few other things.

You'll probably get "good" eventually. Start doing the things you want to be known for doing now. Don't put off animation or comics or games or interactive websites or any other 'daunting' artform because you're "not good enough yet" just start. It'll probably get you up to speed faster anyway.
