Youth clubs like Avenues Youth Project do incredible work with young Londoners to keep them safe and help them thrive. My London VRU is funding sport and physical activity sessions like this during the holidays and throughout the year to ensure young people have access to positive opportunities.

My @london-vru.bsky.social is doing vital work to divert vulnerable children and young Londoners away from violence and exploitation. We’re investing record amounts in prevention and early intervention to tackle the complex causes of violence.

60% of young offenders have speech and language difficulties. My @london-vru.bsky.social is reaching children at the start of primary school to support them to improve their communication skills, with a big impact: 98% of children have closed the gap to their peers.
