Eat. Sleep. Exercise. Nurture the relationships that sustain you. Protect your health. Find joy. Don't mistake any of these for the resistance itself. Joy isn't resistance, neither is rest. But you need to be whole to resist for a lifetime.

You don't have to mourn people who despised you and wanted terrible things to happen to you. Hard to believe that this needs to be said but apparently it does.

This witch hunt is so obviously forced and disconnected from reality. I should not be shocked anymore by how low the heritage foundation is willing to stoop, or the fact that they got their cronies into positions of power to regurgitate their baseless talking points. But we should be VERY concerned.

It’s funny, telling, classist, and more that the medical field invented a special term—“bedside manner”—for what is truly just “customer service.” In the legal field we may call it being client-centered, but even that doesn’t capture it.

I don’t remember why or when I requested to borrow the audiobook—someone must have recommended it—but I’m glad I did. A gift from a past self!
