I love taking in information and then letting it process for a while. I had fiction workshop today and read everyone's feedback letters right after. Then I came home and learned Celeste Farewell strats for three hours. Whew. I could feel the buffering by the end and can feel the filtering now.

I'm supposed to let you know these are the stats of my first full Celeste playthrough, which happened this last week and a half.

I've lost a few friends in the last year because I asked them to care about me in a way that meant an actual amount of effort. If caring about you is an inconvenience, if a conversation about your feelings is enough to break a friendship, maybe it wasn't worthwhile. There are better people.

I finished A Dream of a Woman by @caseyplett.com tonight, and it's something I absolutely needed to exist in this world. Every story excavated a part of me, and it helped of realize some things about the fleeting nature of relationships.

Accepted to Community of Writers poetry workshop this summer with a scholarship that covers all but $100.

Okay the prose writing is going to devour me a little this quarter. I just finished my fifth or sixth draft of my short story due tomorrow and read ~100 pages from a collection for my thesis hours, among some other, shorter assignments.

Finished up a full draft of my first short story in ten years just now. 12 pages. Good lord.
