I had a small slice of my cake despite my restrictive diet. Couldn't help it. Though there was plenty of sugar in it, the cake did not taste terribly sweet because of the espresso powder I added to the batter. It was a hit, though, and I'm very proud of it!

Stomach problems heightened today. Not a flare, but pretty bad nonetheless. Gonna miss brunch with my in-laws this morning. Hopefully, I'll make it to the Superbowl party tonight.

Just found out that my husband received a cinnamon roll at work. He had a few bites and THREW AWAY THE MIDDLE. Who is this man I married? I can't have sugar, but this dude throws away the best part of the greatest cinnamon pastry known to humankind!

Watching figure skating. Stephen Gogolev, a Canadian figure skater, had the coolest outfit I've seen on a man in the sport. It looks like a black suit, complete with a jacket, vest, and even a pocket watch chain. Love to see it. I'm rooting for Ilia, though, because he's from my area.

I found these "diet" dark chocolate coconut cups online. They have only 3 grams of sugar (80 calories) per cup and taste like better Mounds bars. The only problem is that I want to eat the whole bag in one sitting lol

With the help of therapy and antidepressants, my PTSD is not really acting up rn. My stomach is the best it's been in 20 years. I haven't been drinking alcohol. I've never been addicted to it imo, but I overused it sometimes. No longer. I don't need or really want it. My liver is happier lol

Forgot to take my afternoon mental health meds until now. I'm also late taking my night meds. Not feeling great, in other words.

My bank keeps trying to get me to come in to a branch to discuss my "financial priorities." I imagine they just want to sell me something. It's annoying, to say the least.

If you're having digestive issues or stomach pain, get a doctor to order an abdominal/pelvis CT scan (w/ contrast). It takes pictures of all your organs below your lungs. The radiologist will inspect and diagnose or clear the entire area. I was able to rule out many things and find answers this way.

Going through my stock of books to see if I need to order any more for Awesome Con. Good news: I have a lot more books than I realized. I will probably only have to buy a few. However, I have never sold books at an event this large, so it's a bit of a guessing game.

He's feeling much better today. He ate all his food for breakfast, kept it down, and is acting normal. He just tried to steal my chicken caesar wrap. Not sure what was wrong, but he seems fine now.
