Headed to a holiday party

I'm so tempted to make a cake for the holidays, but I'm making like 100 cookies, so maybe that's enough lol

Just did a CT scan. Didn't throw up from the drinks this time thanks to 16 mg of Zofran. I am, however, having an incredibly bad flare as a reaction to the liquid. Not terribly happy right now, but at least it's done.

I am out of flour and almost out of granulated sugar and vanilla paste. I'd be out of butter, too, if my husband hadn't bought me some this morning. Luckily, all four of my cookie doughs are finished. Unless there's something wrong with them when I bake, I should be good!

Just realized I can't make my strawberry cookies tomorrow because the freeze-dried strawberries haven't arrived yet! 😩 I had it all planned out. Maybe I'll make the shortbread dough instead.

I made matcha cookie dough with white chocolate chips for the holidays. I'm freezing it to use later this month.

Gingerbread layer cake with cream cheese frosting, caramel sauce, sanding sugar, and sprinkles. I'm not in love with how it looks, but it absolutely tastes fantastic!

There's like a coalition of forces keeping me sane despite the dumpster fire around us, and I need all of them to get the job done.

Right now, the plan for next month is to make four different kinds of cookies. Here are the planned types: * Plain shortbread for my FIL * Sugar cookies, possibly orange and cardamom flavor, with royal icing and sprinkles * Matcha with white choc chips * Strawberry with white choc chips

For the upcoming holiday, I'm making a gingerbread cake. My husband bought me all the supplies I will need. I am wondering if I should make a multi-layer cake or a bundt cake. The layered one will require more work and icing. The bundt cake will be smaller. Thoughts?

I want to switch our cats to healthier wet/fresh food. I looked at Smalls, but for three cats eating twice per day, it's pretty expensive. We are currently feeding dry food regularly and Sheba wet food occasionally. Anyone have a specific brand/type they recommend? Thanks!

Went to the doctor. She basically said she couldn't help me and ordered a redo of two tests. She rolled her eyes a lot. She did not investigate the sharp pain at all. What a waste of time.

When I was sick with untreated PTSD, I watched many horror movies per day as a form of therapy. The number depended on how bad the day was. It wasn't a fix for the problem, but it helped a lot. As a result, I have seen hundreds of horror movies. I still watch them, but I don't NEED them anymore.
