Happy to see my poem in print over at broadkill review in their summer issue, just in time for Warhol's birthday. Warhol's first Pop Art paintings appeared in 1961 in the department store windows of Bonwit Teller. Warhol's paintings served as a backdrop to mannequins dressed in the latest fashions.

New poem out in LBRNTH Issue 4.

Today, we hung pride flags in our church to visibly show our welcome and support as a faith community for our LGBTQIA+ community members. Especially at a time when queer people are experiencing increasing threats and discrimination.

This is my favorite picture of Stonewall. They knew they were getting arrested just for being LGBTQ+. Yet... they're still here, standing outside of the boarded up Stonewall Inn, smiling as the world was at a fever pitch of hatred against them. I think about it a lot in moments like this.
