At @inkandswitch.com we are starting a new project to research better version control tools for making games. One hypothesis: collaborating on a game should initially be as simple as working on a Google Doc, with concepts like branching introduced gradually as needed.

Ink & Switch is embarking on a new project to explore how our universal version control research might apply to building games in Godot, for both experienced and new developers. We'll start sharing lab notes as the project ramps up, but if you're familiar with the Godot IDE, we'd love to talk.
