I missed most of the pre-Direct ads yesterday so I was pretty confused when I started seeing people say that their favorite Direct announcement was Nintendo Music becoming usable on PC lol (real though)

The Nintendo Music mobile application has been updated to version 1.6.1. The patch notes do not detail any particular changes.

A sheet has been added which lists every track ordered by when it was added to Nintendo Music. Needed the list of tracks added at launch for something and I guess it never occurred to me before that there was no easy way to get that on the Information Database... whoops.

Two common questions regarding Mario Kart World updates on Nintendo Music are whether they'll replace standard drops, and whether they'll make playlists for games with a single Free Roam track. Both of these are likely pretty simple to answer just by looking at how they've set things up. (1/4)

Getting Nintendo Music images is quite easy now thanks to the web application, however here's a tip to keep in mind. Removing the "im" parameter used to resize the image entirely is a bad idea, since in most cases it will still return a lower quality version of the image. (1/2)

The track "Boss Battle" from New Super Mario Bros. has been updated on Nintendo Music to correct an issue in which it had a slower tempo compared to how it appears in-game.

Seeing a lot of confusion about this so to make it clear, Donkey Kong 64 is *not* dropping on Nintendo Classics on the new standard day for Nintendo Music drops, it's actually 24 hours beforehand as confirmed by the calendar on Nintendo Today! It's dropping on June 3rd in the Americas, not the 4th.

It appears that the Nintendo Music application is currently only capable of displaying the latest 100 posts in the Recent highlights section. It is important to note that this is simply a built-in limitation of the application, and that for now at least older posts have not actually been removed

With May coming to a close, time for an updated look at the major stats! May was a pretty low-key month compared to what we're used to, first one in over a year to not add a full Switch or Switch 2 soundtrack too. Notably, it also saw the typical weekly drop day move over from Tuesday to (1/3)

Completely agree but I must stress that you play them in original release order, meaning Missing Heir first followed by The Girl Who Stands Behind! They don't spoil one another, but the evolution in storytelling is extremely palpable, and TGWSB is still written assuming you've played Missing Heir.
