Turns out they actually updated all of the "Match your Mood" playlist covers to make the circles larger. The Good Night playlist also updated the image for "The Farthest Lullaby - Fossil Falls - Music Box Ver.". I'll include the Winter playlist comparison too, since I excluded it before.

A "Happy Holidays!" section has been added to Nintendo Music's home page! As part of this, the covers for the Party, Powering Up, and Winter playlists have been updated to feature newer additions to the service!

Super Mario Land has been added to Nintendo Music!

With Nintendo Music putting emphasis on calendar years, I've added a second "Yearly additions" sheet to the Information Database which groups tracks based on the year they were added in. And ICYMI, the Playlist Database was updated with information about the new Selects playlists. Here's to 2026!

I dunno if this is too much. I do/did let playlists keep going at night while I fall asleep/the sleep function wasn't a thing for a while on the app.

My full 2025 Year in Review results have been archived on my Nintendo Music Favorites spreadsheet! Will be nice to compare them to next year's, I'm really striving to increase my listening time. By the way, my Favorites playlist currently has 1255 tracks (1250 as of November 30th).

By far the craziest Nintendo Music stats I've seen, kudos to you! Really need to step up my game next year (belive me if Mario Kart World were on the service I'd probably have doubled my time lol).

The Nintendo Music 2025 Year in Review is now available!

Earlier today I added a sheet that shows how many tracks each game has in each general playlist on Nintendo Music. It's probably a little clunky but I felt it'd be nice to have this information quickly accessible without needing to go and count them so it is what it is lol

I genuinely gave it a fair shot and was hoping I'd find a few favorites, but even though 3 tracks got close I just couldn't warrant adding any of them to my Favorites playlist. It's the only soundtrack on Nintendo Music that isn't NES or Game Boy that I don't have any Favorites from, unfortunately.

Update: I have been able to independently confirm that text references to a Year in Review feature are indeed present in version 1.5.0 of Nintendo Music.

FYI I don't know where this information comes from, the Nintendo Music 1.5.0 patch notes just mention bug fixes. If anyone is aware, please let me know.

I think it's too early to assume there won't be anything this week, it's probably going to tie in to something like the first Kirby Air Riders drop. In an hour there's a Drag x Drive Ask the Devs dropping, and an hour later there's a Pokémon Legends: Z-A trailer, so it could be related to those.

Seeing people create all these crazy intricate machine designs in Kirby Air Riders meanwhile I struggled to just make this lol (it also took 17 decals, the maximum being 20).

Something else I just noticed is that, as of these updates, every game on Nintendo Music which is playable on Switch or Switch 2 now uses "Go here for information on this game." Previously, most games added prior to the Nintendo Switch 2's release used "Available on the Nintendo Switch system".

I feel dumb for only noticing this now, but "Anarchy Rainbow" was also changed from Splatune3 despite keeping the 44.1kHz sample rate. On Nintendo Music it has the drumbeat intro, but in Splatune3 that's part of "Anarchy Splatcast (Splatfest)", making for a seamless transition between them. (1/3)
