I think BlueSky will be significantly better for conferences than any other site. Organisers can create speaker starter packs to allow attendees to auto-follow all speakers. Also a custom feed of all folks skeeting abut a conf would be a big win.

I just spent 2 days waiting on a replacement part for my 3D printer only to find out the current part still worked, its cable had just come loose from the data board and it just needed plugging back in. Always remember to troubleshoot the basics, even in you're 100% sure it's not a basic problem.
