Building an AI wallpaper app! I wrote a script that: 1. Uses an LLM to write 50 good wallpaper prompts 2. Sends them to an image model to generate images 3. Stores the images in a CDN I then manually curate the images by deleting the bad wallpapers & keeping the good ones.

I made an app that googles you, shows you a profile of what the internet knows about you, and gives you a "googlability" score! The issue is that it's not always accurate (it still thinks i'm at my last job) so I'm debating whether or not to release it. What do y'all think?

Both Business Insider and Yahoo wrote articles about roomGPT this week after someone made a viral Tiktok about it that got 3.4M views! Reflecting on it, there’s a large amount of luck, but my main takeaway is that people really appreciate simple apps. Do one thing and do it well is my #1 advice

I have so many AI app ideas and half-done projects that it’s actually stressful. Trying to take a step back and do one at a time at a sustainable pace to keep my love for coding alive, instead of trying to do too much at once. Despite some stress, I’m very excited about them overall!

We just launched Vercel Storage! Time to migrate some of my AI apps to use Vercel Postgres for the database and Vercel KV for rate limiting.

I was interviewed by Honeypot, specifically by the same person who did the React Documentary! I talked about my side projects, how I build them, and advice for folks trying to do the same. They just sent me an initial version to review, it'll actually be posted in May!

Halfway done with a new AI project that will take pdfs / websites and create a custom chatGPT chatbot based on it. It’ll be free and fully open source as usual and my first AI app built with the new Next.js app directory Coming sooon
