Much to my friends, family and tour guides’ disappointment, I don’t take many selfies / photos of myself when I travel. There’s just much more interesting subjects to focus on. I usually take one what I refer to as my “I arrived safely” selfie. Here I am in Casco Viejo. Brown and happy.

Last night I was sharing my experiences of visiting Shanghai. Unless people have been to China, I think these moments are hard to visualize. My fav is the man walking his Llama. I'm not sure who the two on the left are cosplaying as. The two on the right remind me of being in S Korea.

I was obsessed with getting a photo of the Kentucky Pizzeria in Buenos Aires. Bonus was capturing it at night with the halation from neon lights. This image was shot with the Pentax 17 with Ilford 400ASA, and I was amazed with the results.

When I was in Santiago, Chile, was the first time I had seen Cristo de la Paciencia (Christ of Patience). This statue is from 1850s.

I loved the entire cast of #XOKitty (really, how often do you get to say that?!!) but Cabbage was my absolute favorite. Here I am getting a little kiss on the nose from Cabbage in between takes.

Crew shoes and sneakers left on deck. Location scouting yachts in S. Korea. If you watch the first episode of #XOKitty S3, much of it takes place on a yacht In Busan. Every time we went inside a location (with few exceptions), we had to take off our shoes before entering. This included boats.

Camera rig for the French Revolution, rollercoaster scene in #XOKitty. Thankfully my grips had done this rig before & knew where to start. Adjustments made for our cameras + coverage. I had three camera units working. A Cam was with me. B cam shooting 2nd Unit. C Cam running tests on the ride.

I have an awards season hangover. Last night the impossible became possible. Autumn blasted a hole into a cement ceiling. #Sinners has gorg mesmerizing visuals AND is mind blowing technically. Worth sharing with friends who may not care about film but are passionate about women in STEM. #Oscars

The email, from a Los Angeles based film lab, began, “Good Evening Cybel, I regret to inform you that we had a machine malfunction whilst processing two of your black and white rolls. This resulted in most of the images on those rolls being burned.” Of the “burnt images” this is my favorite.
